ONE DAY PHILADELPHIA

Photographers! – I want you to shoot with me! Just a week from now, on March 31 2010 a group of my friends will get together to record ONE DAY of LIFE in Philadelphia.

We start shooting at dawn and finish at midnight. The purpose is to record both artistic and photojournalistic images of life in the city of Philadelphia. Shoot wide and tight, get the big picture as well as details. Visit all neighborhoods, find the highs and the lows. Shoot anything that you find interesting.! Shoot people working, playing, shopping, relaxing, getting together with friends or getting a parking ticket, go to the busiest streets as well as the lonely and abandoned places – shoot anything that grabs your attention and makes for a great image!

The best photos will be used in a slideshow that we will display on the huge jumbotron at THE PIAZZA on April 7 2010 at 6pm.

If you are a photographer and would like to participate please contact me immediately – spots are still open for those who are willing to contribute their work. There is no compensation for submitting your images. It’s a free artistic photojournalism project. We are doing this because we love photography and want to be a part of a coordinated effort. If your images are selected for the slideshow your name will be displayed during the presentation. You don’t have to be a pro nor live in Philadelphia to shoot with us! I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
