Darcie and Robert are engaged! Congratulations! In fact, they are getting married in just a few weeks – mid April and the wedding is taking place at Abington Art Center in Jenkintown, PA – look out for our coverage coming soon to this blog! To shoot their engagement session we got together at Point Pleasant, NJ where Robert used to take Darcie for dates when he wanted to make a good impression 😉 apparently he succeeded when Darcie said “yes” to the big question – well done, Robert!
The weather for our shoot a few days ago was… oh well – let’s say it was encouraging to moving swift and working with a slight sense of urgency. With temperatures in the mid 30’s we could only wish for a bit of sun and a prettier day. Guess what – that didn’t stop us from getting the couple wet! Ok, I have to admit I felt really bad when it happened – it was completely UNINTENTIONAL! I am still in awe of Darcie and Robert’s endurance and good spirit – even though their feet must have been freezing there wasn’t a single word of complaint. They just went on being a good sport about everything. After that there was some ski-ball playing and stealing Spongebob Squarepants from a little kid (don’t worry – we gave it back after we got the shot).
