    My Style and Approach

"Your first 10,000 photos are your worst" -Henri Cartier Bresson

CINEMATICbyDavidM was created to bring out what's best in wedding photography. I shoot weddings because I absolutely love working with people and love photography. My inspiration comes from classic movies, yet my style has little to do with traditional wedding photography. I employ knowledge and experience as my advisors but use the artistic vision as my guide. Sometimes the best photos are created by experimenting and boldly going to the most unusual places.

My style could be described as editorial, although I prefer to think about it as freestyle creativity with cinematic flavor. It definitely relies heavily on pure photojournalism but I also quite often do influence what I see - I try to do it whenever I know I can create a better image. I had a pleasure to speak several times in front of hundreds of photographers about creative lighting techniques that come handy during a wedding shoot.

To further evaluate my expertise I encourage you to explore this entire blog. Enjoy!

    Ways to reach me!

Maryteresa & Omar – let’s Tango!

Recently I have found my favorite engagement session location in Philadelphia and… it’s not the famous Rocky museum steps. It’s not the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, neither is it the LOVE park. All those places are beautiful and have their one of a kind appeal – however, there is much more waiting to be discovered in [...]
