Lindsey + Daniel part2: Harry Winston, cowboy boots & fireworks in Santa Fe!

When I think back and try to come up with one word that could sum up Lindsey and Daniel’s event in Santa Fe, NM it would have to be: magical. For those who think this is an exaggeration, I wish you were there with us and experienced it all first hand. Let’s start with getting ready, OUR getting ready. Before we left we were constantly checking the weather forecast (we knew most of it was supposed to be happening outdoors). The little weather app on iPhone was saying rain, thunderstorms, cloudy… and so was weather-dot-com. Seeing that was not funny! Our super cool wedding in a gorgeous place and exotic (for us) state is going to rain out! Oh, no! We had a total of four days with Saturday being the main one that we could use for a shoot. ALL OF THEM turned out to be just gorgeous! One could seriously not ask for more – beautiful, perfect weather: warm but without any humidity. Sure it did rain – at night. It also rained cats and dogs in Dallas, where some of the guests were flying from. A lot of them didn’t make it for the rehearsal night (with one, particularly note-worthy heroic, movie-like entry of the groom’s dear friend Coley right when we were getting ready to shoot the bridal party on the wedding day). We were almost literally living those four days inside our own love and good vives bubble – with storms strong enough to shut down airports all round us but a completely clear sky and sunshine right in Santa Fe. The other magical part of the event was how much Lindsey and Daniel were in love and into each other and how all the family and friends surrounding them were the kindest and happiest people ever. No stress, no rush, no wedding madness – just great time with friends! Here is a handful of our favorites:

Lindsey and Daniel – Thank You a million times for giving me the opportunity to be THE photographer. I had fantastic time and a great adventure!

Lindsey & Daniel - To THE PHOTOGRAPHER!!!

You captured details and moments we weren’t even aware of! What a joy to relive this experience. The way you’re telling our wedding weekend story is lovely and exciting, and we are loving watching it unfold!!

Annemarie - I literally have chills! The colors, the bride and groom, the setting, the everything is just so…..magical. David, you could not have picked a better word to describe this whole wedding weekend and you could not have done a better job catching the magic with your camera. It’s so wonderful to relive these moments and without photography that moves and speaks, we would be left with only the imperfect memories of our minds.

Scott Sperry - Gotta give the props to David the photographer. He did a fantastic job! Honestly, he was the easiest photographer I’ve ever worked with. Normally it’s not easy to smile for photographers but his sense of humor, relaxed confidence, and ease of being brought out the best in everyone. Exceptional! And, his co-photographer assistant was super hot. Hope that wasn’t too much.

MaggieDickie & Michael Reynolds - We have looked these over again and again and showed them to friends (Gabe Bethel) and we all agreee they are phenomenal and renew our faith in the human race! they capture the emotion of the day. WOW! My favorite is the fist pump and the “Alright!!” from Daniel and Lindsey. (Aunt Maggie) GREAT PICTURES!
